Chapter Three
Firepaw steps into the sandy-hollow where Tigerclaw was waiting, he was the first to appear back. He drops the thrush at Tigerclaw's paws.
"You're the first back," Meowed the warrior.
"Yeah but I got loads more prey to fetch," Firepaw mewed quickly. "I buried it back –"
"I know exactly what you did," Tigerclaw growled. "I've been watching you,"
The swish of the bush announces Graypaw's return. He drops his squirrel next to Firepaw's thrush. "Yuck!" he spats "I'll be picking hair out of my teeth all evening." Tigerclaw paid no attention to Graypaw's grumbling.

Firepaw stood up and stretch he glances around seeing the fern cover den with five nests, which only two were occupied right now. The dark fur of Ravenpaw and Dustpaw stood out in the rising sun, both slept next to each other and were only two whiskers away from Firepaw's own nest. Firepaw quietly walk away making sure not to wake the grumpy tom. Firepaw yawns glancing around to see if Graypaw was around. It has been five sunrises since he came. He notice Bluestar walking over to him, he also sees Tigerclaw coming over with a sneer on his face. Firepaw moves out of the way as Tigerclaw pushes his way to the entrances.
